Start from an event
- Open your draft event and choose Event map.
- Open the map designer and prepare the floor plan and seat layout.
- Wait for the design to save to your organization’s map library.
- Open Event settings in the mapper, assign every bookable seat to a seated ticket type, and update the booking map.
- Return to the event and inspect its map before publishing.
Start from a standalone map
- Open Event maps and choose Create event map.
- Build and save a map without attaching an event.
- Create a draft event with the ticket types you need.
- Open the saved map, choose Attach to event, select the draft, and attach it.
- Check seat-to-ticket assignments and choose Update booking map after the design finishes saving.
Design and booking layout are separate
Cloud autosave preserves your editing work. Update booking map copies the active board’s attendee-visible seats and background into the event’s booking layout. Guests do not receive every design edit just because it autosaved.
Only draft events can have their booking layout updated through this workflow. After publishing, the layout is protected. Review the mapper’s booking-map guide before making a live event.
